ITS MICHIGAN BOARD HONORS FORMER PRESIDENT PIOTROWICZ

At its July 2022 meeting, the ITS Michigan Board of Directors honored formed President Gary Piotrowicz for his service to the organization with a resolution recognizing his service.

Piotrowicz served as present from May 2020 to May 2020, leading the organization through the uncharted waters of the COVID pandemic. During that time, the organization was forced to move its meetings online, including the 2020 Annual meeting.

In 2021, Piotrowicz successfully led the return to an in-person Annual Meeting, which featured a number of speakers representing the leading organizations and efforts in the field. He was also able to return the organization's Board meetings to in-person gatherings. 

Piotrowicz is the deputy managing director/county highway engineer for the Road Commission for Oakland County.

The framed resolution was presented to Piotrowicz by current ITS Michigan President Kyle McIntosh.
